脊髓X区（Rexed X层）是指围绕脊髓中央管的灰质，又称脊髓中央中间质。它包括分别位于中央管后方和前方的后（背侧）和前（腹侧）灰质连合。前灰质连合连接脊髓左右两侧腹角的灰质，而后灰质连合则连接两侧脊髓背角的灰质。
