静脉韧带是胎儿循环中静脉导管的纤维残余，静脉导管在胎儿期将部分脐静脉血流直接引流至下腔静脉，从而绕过肝脏。通常，静脉韧带附着于肝门内门静脉左支，延伸至下腔静脉。它可能与肝圆韧带（ligamentum teres hepatis）相延续。
静脉韧带位于肝脏脏面／后面的一条裂隙内，介于尾状叶与左叶主体部分之间，被小网膜的腹膜皱襞所包裹。
在肝切除术等肝脏外科手术中，静脉韧带是重要的解剖标志，有助于辨认血管结构并指导手术入路。
