The lesser curvature lymph nodes (Station number 3 in the gastric lymph node stations - Japanese Research Society for Gastric Cancer) are located along the descending branch of the left gastric artery and along the right gastric artery distal to the first gastric branch:

  • 3a: Along the branches of the left gastric artery

  • 3b: Along second branch and distal part of the right gastric artery
