The iliopectineal arch is a thickened condensed band from the medial part of the fused Iliopsoas fascia, deep to the inguinal ligament.

The iliopectineal arch attaches superolaterally at the iliac crest, just posterior to the origin of the inguinal ligament, and extends inferomedially to the iliopectineal eminence, which is located between the pelvic brim posteriorly and the anterior wall of the acetabulum anteriorly.[1] This fascia is continuous with the iliopsoas fascia posteriorly and provides attachment sites for the internal oblique and transversus abdominis muscles anterolaterally.[1]

The iliopectineal arch separates the muscular space from the vascular space.
