Definition

Just below the petrous ridge, although slightly difficult to notice, there is an opening of vestibular canaliculus. This opening leads into a channel called the aqueduct of the vestibule or vestibular canaliculus, which carries the endolymphatic duct along with a tiny artery and vein.
