Corona ciliaris
Definition
The corona ciliaris is one of the two rings forming the ciliary body, and is the more central, close to the iris. It is formed by a large number of ciliary processes arranged radially around the lens, towards which they stretch. The fibers of the ciliary zonule are attached here.
