Ligamentum femoropatellare laterale
Definition
The lateral femoropatellar ligament is a delicate band of loose fibres, partially blended with the overlying medial retinaculum. It extends from the lateral side of the patella to the condyle of femur (or lateral sesamoid bone of gastrocnemius in carnivores).
