Ligamentum pectinatum anguli iridocornealis
Ligamentum pectinatum anguli iridocornealis
Definition
The Ligamentum pectinatum anguli iridocornealis is a structure organized in a network of collagen fibers connecting the base of the iris to the sclera at the level of the iridocorneal angle. It represents the boundary between the spaces of the iridocorneal angle and the anterior chamber. Through its orifices, the aqueous humor is evacuated into the spaces of the iridocorneal angle and then flows towards the vascular system.
