Canalis semicircularis posterior
Definition
The posterior semicircular canal is one of three bony semicircular canals, between 0.2 and 0.5 mm in diameter, containing the posterior semicircular duct. The plan of its circle relative to the base of the skull faces rostrolaterally and slightly dorsally.
