Arteria auricularis rostralis

The rostral auricular artery arises at the caudal edge of the superficial temporal artery. It courses between the parotid gland and the temporalis muscle, under the rostral auricular muscles, to the auricle. It anastomoses variably with the caudal auricular artery.
