Supracondylar fossa
Fossa supracondylaris
Definition
The supracondylar fossa is depression of the caudodistal aspect of the fo the body of femur, proximal to lateral condyle, for origin of the superficial digital flexor muscle. It is well marked in horses and shallow in ruminants and pigs.
