颞支（rami temporales）越过颧弓至颞区，支配耳前肌和耳上肌，并与上颌神经的颧颞支及下颌神经的耳颞支相吻合。较前方的分支支配额肌、眼轮匝肌和皱眉肌，并与眼神经的眶上支和泪腺支相吻合。
