远端解剖桡骨轴是评估桡骨成角畸形并指导矫正的解剖学标志。由于犬桡骨存在正常的前曲（procurvatum），桡骨解剖轴无法以单一直轴绘制，因此将其分为两段：近端解剖桡骨轴与远端解剖桡骨轴。
远端解剖桡骨轴在矢状面内确定，依据桡骨的内外侧位X线片或多平面重建图像。在骨的远端三分之一处，作两条垂直于桡骨体的直线，远端解剖桡骨轴连接这两条直线的中点。
远端解剖桡骨轴与近端解剖桡骨轴的交点即确定了桡骨的成角定向中心（CORA）。
