The infraglenoid tubercle of the scapula is a small bony prominence located at the inferior aspect of the glenoid cavity (glenoid fossa). It serves as the attachment site for the tendon of the long head of the triceps brachii muscle, which originates at this tubercle. The tendon extends down the arm and inserts at the olecranon process of the ulna, playing a key role in elbow extension.
