The opening of sinus of sphenoidal bone is a rounded hole located on the upper front wall of the sphenoidal air sinus, immediately above sphenoidal concha. This opening lets the sphenoid sinus drain into the sphenoethmoidal recess, which is situated right above the superior nasal concha, in the upper lateral area of the nasal cavity.
