Definition
The pancreatic nodes are the two groups of lymph node around the body and the tail of the pancreas:
The superior pancreatic nodes are located at the upper margin of the pancreas and drain partially into the splenic lymph nodes along the splenic artery.
The inferior pancreatic nodes are located at the lower margin of the pancreas and drain partially into the pancreaticoduodenal nodes and into the superior mesenteric nodes
