Definition

The subpyloric nodes (Infrapyloric lymph nodes) are located at the greater curvature, immediately below the pylorus, at the confluence of the right gastroepiploic vein with the anterior inferior pancreaticoduodenal vein.

These lymph nodes are part of the lymphatic drainage system of the stomach and are classified as station 6 in the Japanese Classification of Gastric Carcinoma.
