Definition
The body of ulna is smaller than the radial shaft, and three sided, presenting:
- A lateral surface
- A cranial surface
- A medial surface
- An interosseous border (only in carnivores)
- A caudal border
- A cranial border
- A lateral border in ungulates.
In horses, the ulna is fused with the radius and his body is considerably small.
