Coronoid process
Processus coronoideus
Definition
The coronoïd process is the cranial extremity of the trochlear notch.
The trochlear notch corresponds to the groove of the humeral trochlea, with a craniocaudal relief ended caudally by the ancon process of the ulna, and cranially by the coronoïd process.
This process belongs to the ulna in humans, and to the radius in most domestic animals.
