Fasciculus longitudinalis dorsalis
Definition
The dorsal longitudinal fasciculus is a white matter tract located in the ventral part of the periaqueductal gray, which conveys axons from the hypothalamus to the parasympathetic nuclei of the cranial nerves, participating in the transmission of visceral information.
