The motor nucleus of the oculomotor nerve is a nucleus located rostral to the trochlear nucleus, composed of somatic efferent neurons innervating the extraocular muscles and the levator palpebrae superioris, and of visceral efferent neurons forming the parasympathetic nucleus of the oculomotor nerve.
