Intercapital notch

In Bulls, the dorsal extremity of the cannon bone (metatarsal bones III and IV) is divided into two articular eminences by a deep intertrochlear or intercapital notch (Incisura intercapitalis). Each one corresponds to the proximal phalanx and to the big sesamoid bones.
