Fasciae musculares
Definition
The muscular fascia of the orbit are thin sheets that surround the various muscles of the eyeball. There is a superficial blade that covers the levator palpebrae superioris and the lacrimal gland, and a deep blade that is continuous with the fascial sheath of the eyeball and reflects on the rectus muscles and the optic nerve.
