Definition
The rima vestibuli is a portion of the laryngeal cavity. Laterally, it is limited by the vestibular folds and by the mucosa covering the cuneiform processes. Ventrally, the rima vestibuli is bounded by the mucosa covering the thyroid cartilage, caudal to the thyroepiglottic ligament.
