Supraspinous ligament

Ligamentum supraspinale

Definition

The supraspinous ligament is a thick band attached to the tips of the spinous processes of thoracic and lumbar vertebrae. In dogs, it extends form the first thoracic vertebra to the third caudal vertebra.
