上牙槽神经丛是位于上颌骨（即上颌骨）厚实的牙槽突内的神经丛，位于上方的上颌窦与下方的上颌牙齿之间。该神经丛由三条神经的分支汇合而成，分别是：上牙槽后神经（起自翼腭窝内的上颌神经）、上牙槽中神经和上牙槽前神经（均为眶下神经的分支）。这些神经在上颌窦黏膜外侧下行，并沿途支配上颌窦黏膜。随后，这些神经在上颌窦下方相互吻合，形成上牙槽神经丛。

上牙槽神经丛支配上颌牙根、上颌牙龈及颊黏膜。神经丛的后部接受上牙槽后神经的分支，支配上颌磨牙的牙根；中部接受上牙槽中神经的分支，支配前磨牙；前部来自上牙槽前神经，支配尖牙和切牙。上牙槽神经丛的前部还发出一支鼻支，该鼻支穿过鼻腔外侧壁上的一个小孔，最终为鼻腔下鼻道黏膜及鼻腔底的黏膜提供感觉神经支配。
