Diameter aortae descendentis mediae
Definition
The diameter of mid-descending aorta is measured at the level of the left pulmonary artery, right pulmonary artery or at the same level as the sinotubular junction measurement.
Normative reference value of mid-descending thoracic aorta: 20-30 mm
