The right ovarian vein originate from the plexus in the broad ligament near the ovary and fallopian tube and communicate with the uterine plexus, then course anterior to the psoas muscle and right to the right ureter. It crosses the right ureter anteromedially halfway between the bifurcation of the inferior vena cava and it terminates in the anterolateral surface of the inferior vena cava.
