Antitragicus muscle
Musculus antitragicus
Definition
The antitragus is caudal to intertragic notch. It is partially covered by the dorsal end of the parotidoauricularis muscle.
Origin: near to intertragic notch
Insertion: caudal border of antitragus
Artery: rostral auricular artery
Nerve: auriculopalpebral nerve
Action: pulls the antitragus rostrally
Antagonist: caudoantitragicus muscle
