Definition

The helicis minor is located between medial and lateral crus of helicis, attached to tragal lamina.

Origin: between the two crura of helix

Insertion: near the pretragic notch

Artery: rostral auricular artery

Nerve: auriculopalpebral nerve

Action: it tightens, by contracting, the tube formed by the anular cartilage
