The cruciate sulcus is a deep cerebral sulcus located on the dorsal aspect of the cerebral hemisphere, oriented approximately perpendicular to the longitudinal fissure. In the dog, it separates the precruciate gyrus rostrally from the postcruciate gyrus caudally and extends onto the medial surface of the hemisphere.
