Deep cervical lymph center

Lymphocentrum cervicale profundum

Definition

Marjorie Champarou

The deep cervical lymph center is a chain of lymph nodes on the side of the cervical part of the trachea, along the internal jugular vein, or failing that, the common carotid and the vagus nerve.

It has three groups of lymph nodes : the cranial, middle and caudal deep cervical lymph nodes.

This lymph center drains the deep cervical structures.
