Mandibular lymph center
Lymphocentrum mandibulare
Definition
The mandibular lymph center has a main and constant group of lymph nodes (the mandibular lymph nodes), while accessory groups vary in number and location depending on the species (the buccal, pterygoid, and the accessory mandibular lymph nodes).
This lymph center is located in the caudal half of the intermandibular region and drains the facial regions.
