Interthalamic adhesion
Adhesio [Adhaesio] interthalamica
Definition
The interthalamic adhesion is a mass of gray matter that connects the two halves of the thalamus at the center of the third ventricle.
It is much less extensive in humans than in domestic mammals, resulting in a wider communication between the rostral and caudal parts of the ventricle.
