Definition
The nuchal fascia (fascha nuchae) is described as the cranial continuation of the thoracolumbar fascia.
Note: this definition remains unclear because the term "nuchal fascia" is not listed in some major sources (Miller, Konig...) and that the difference with the superficial layer of the cervical fascia is not clear...
