The nucleus of the mesencephalic tract of the trigeminal nerve is a nucleus located at the lateral margin of the periaqueductal gray, composed of unipolar cell bodies of primary proprioceptive sensory neurons, receiving axons from the mesencephalic tract of the trigeminal nerve.
