Tractus mesencephalicus nervus trigemini
Definition
The mesencephalic tract of the trigeminal nerve is a white matter tract located at the lateral margin of the periaqueductal gray, which carries the axons of primary proprioceptive sensory neurons to the mesencephalic nucleus of the trigeminal nerve.
