Arcus palatopharyngeus
Definition
The palatopharyngeal arch is a paired mucosal fold that extends from the caudal border of the soft palate to the dorsolateral wall of the pharynx, around the intrapharyngeal opening. It forms part of the border between the nasal part of the pharynx and the laryngeal part of the pharynx.
