Definition
The vertebral arch (or neural arch) forms the vertebral foramen dorsally and laterally (the body forming the ventral part).
Each vertebral arch is composed by:
- Two lateral pedicles (roots of the arch inserted on the body)
- One dorsal plate called lamina of vertebral arch
