Definition

Antoine Micheau

The anterior labial veins are situated within the subcutaneous tissue of the labia majora. They form anastomotic networks that facilitate venous drainage from the labial region. The veins are typically accompanied by corresponding arteries, which provide the arterial supply to the same region. They come from the lips and join the femoral vein or the external pudendal veins.
