Saccus conjunctivae
Definition
The conjunctival sac is the space between the bulbar conjunctiva and the palpebral conjunctiva. It is delimited by the reflection of the palpebral conjunctiva towards the bulbar surface.
At the upper and lower ends of the sac are the superior and inferior conjunctival fornixes, respectively.
