Diverticulum unci
Definition
The diverticulum of the uncus refers to a small diverticulum within the depth of the uncus, a prominence that borders the ventral end of the hippocampal sulcus, in the rhinencephalon.
The term "uncus" is used in humans and is replaced by "hippocampal tubercle" in domestic mammals.
