Infraorbital margin
Margo infraorbitalis
Definition
The infraorbital margin forms the lower part of the orbital margin. It is formed by the zygomatic bone and is part of the zygomatic arch.
Variation:
In carnivores and pigs, the frontal process of the zygomatic bone is connected to the zygomatic process of the frontal bone by the orbital ligament.
