Interarytenoid notch
Incisura interarytenoidea [-arytaenoidea]
Definition
The interarytenoid notch is the indentation at the posterior part of the laryngeal inlet, between the two arytenoid cartilages. The interarytenoid notch communicates dorsally with the middle of the rostral portion of the laryngeal pharynx and ventrally with the rima vestibuli and rima glottidis.
