Lesser papillar muscle

The lesser papillary muscles are a groupe of medium-sized mucles, mostly caudally situated on the septal wall of right ventricle.

There is only one of these papillary muscle in humans (not several as in the domestic mammals), termed as the inferior (posterior) papillary muscle of right ventricle .
