Bursa subtendinea musculus extensoris carpi radialis
Definition
The subtendinous bursa of the extensor carpi radialis muscle is described in ruminants and horses. It is a synovial sac located under the insertion of the tendon of the extensor carpi radialis muscle, on the dorsal surface of metacarpal bone III (horses, ruminants) and IV (ruminants).
