Definition
The circumflex fibular branch of posterior tibial artery arises near the origin ot the posterior tibial artery. It then surrounds the fibular neck and anastomoses with the inferior medial and lateral genicular arteries and anterior tibial recurrent arteries, supplying the proximal end of fibula.
