Left ovarian vein
Vena ovarica sinistra
Definition
The left ovarian vein originate from the plexus in the broad ligament near the ovary and fallopian tube and communicate with the uterine plexus, then course anterior to the psoas muscle and left to the left ureter. It crosses the left ureter anteromedially halfway between the bifurcation of the inferior vena cava and it terminates in left renal vein.
