Bundle of atrioventricular fascicle

The bundle of atrioventricular fascicle, more commonly known as the bundle of His or atrioventricular bundle, is a strand of specialized cardiac myocardium that provides electrical conduction between the atria and ventricles. It forms an anatomical continuation of the atrioventricular (AV) node and serves as the critical connection for transmitting electrical signals from the AV node to the right and left ventricles through their respective bundle branches.
