Lymphonodi cecales [caecales]

The caecal lymph nodes are located in direct contact with the caecum or within the ileocaecal fold. They are described in bovidae and horses and may be described also in cats and ovis. They are absent in the dog, rabbit, and human, and are included in the ileocolic group in the pig and the goat.
